Description
Balneario Los Dos Rios is a natural pool between sea and mountain located in San Rafael, about thirty kilometers south of Barahona, a bit before arriving in Los Patos.
It is a succession of small waterfalls and natural pools in the river that ends on the beach of San Rafael. The vegetation is abundant and lush with trees and tropical plants.
The place is very popular on Sundays and holidays by the people of the region who have just refreshed in the limpid waters of the Balneario Los Dos Rios. There are casitas that offer typical Dominican dishes and drinks.
The natural pool is a mandatory step for local and foreign tourists who visit this part of the Dominican Republic.
