Description
The Balneario Muchas Aguas is located in the province of San Cristobal, northwest of the town of San Cristobal, near the Valdesia Dam on the Nizao River, which ends its course in the Caribbean Sea.
The place is easy to access, however to venture further you need a suitable 4x4 style vehicle. The Balneario Muchas Aguas is quite busy on Sundays and public holidays, with many locals coming to enjoy a refreshing bath. To enjoy peace and quiet it is best to go there on a weekday.
There are no restaurants or grocery stores nearby, you have to bring your food, drinks and a trash bag to take away your waste, unfortunately some places are quite dirty with a lot of waste left by visitors. There are no entrance fees or parking, children, pets, music are accepted. There are no toilets either,
The place is perfect for camping because the relaxing waters of this natural pool allow you to disconnect from the city.
