Description
Balnéario Comate is a natural swimming pool with a small waterfall 10 minutes from Bayaguana, province of Monte Plata.
It is a private place so there is an entrance fee, on site you will find parking ($), a bar/restaurant with tables and chairs which are also payable.
Balnéario Comate is mainly frequented by the inhabitants of the region as well as by the inhabitants of the capital of the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo, who like to come to spend the day with family or friends and enjoy a refreshing swim in the Comate river.
The freshwater basin is located in the middle of tropical vegetation, in a very pleasant natural setting. A place to visit that contrasts with the beaches of the Caribbean coast.

Balneario Comate is located in the province of Monte Plata, 10 minutes from Bayaguana and 1 hour north of Santo Domingo. The property is easy to find.
Admission is 25 Dominican pesos, it's open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
