Description
Balneario El Camellon, on the Masipedro river, in the community of Los Arroces in Bonao, is a semi-natural swimming pool that is formed by a small water reservoir that serves as a catchment for water.
The place is very frequented by the inhabitants of the region and by local and foreign tourists who come to enjoy the river to spend a moment with family and friends.
On site there are tables, chairs, a small restaurant that offers simple Dominican food and drinks. You can prepare your own meals as there are barbecue rentals. There is a large secure car park paying 100 pesos.
Balneario El Camellon is not recommended in heavy rains, the place is not supervised, you must be vigilant with children and people who cannot swim well. It is one of the main tourist attractions in Bonao.
