Description
Balneario Boca de Cachon is a natural swimming pool located in the small town of the same name in the province of Independencia, about ten kilometers north of Jimani, west of the Dominican Republic.
The place is very frequented by the locals who come to take a refreshing bath on Sundays, public holidays and during Holy Week and to celebrate birthdays and other private events. There is a spacious parking lot.
For local or foreign tourists it is a stop to make after an excursion to Isla Cabritos national park - Enriquillo Lake, it is a quiet place with a rural atmosphere.
