Description
The White Waterfall (which is also called Salto Grande) is located in the province of El Seibo, in the east of the Dominican Republic, about twenty kilometers from the capital of the province, Santa Cruz del Seibo.
The waterfall
is impressive, it is about 75 meters high, it is a very popular excursion for lovers of nature and ecology. The trail to get to the waterfall is a little less than 4 kilometers round trip. The water in the waterfall is cold and does not allow swimming for long.
It is the source of drinking water for the inhabitants of Pedro Sanchez and the surrounding area. The fauna and flora are rich and diverse with many species of birds.
