Description
Salto El Zumbador is composed of two waterfalls, El Zumbador Grande and El Zumbador Chiquito, in the community of El Valle, province of Hato Mayor.
The waterfalls are located at the gates of Los Haitises National Park, on the Yanigua River where the Yanigua and Fun-Fun waterfalls are also located. The smallest is about ten meters high while the second is almost 35 meters high.
salto El Zumbador is not very visited, you have to walk about 1.2 miles before reaching the waterfall. It is an ideal place for nature excursions and to discover the natural beauties of the Dominican Republic.
The tropical vegetation is abundant and lush, the refreshing waters are perfect for relaxing in nature and meditating away from the noise of the city.

The waterfall is located in the rural community of El Valle, about 12 miles from Sabana de la Mar, 28 from Hato Mayor del Rey and about 99 from Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic.
