The beaches of the province of El Seibo

The province of El Seibo is located in the northeast of the Dominican Republic, it is bordered to the north by the Atlantic Ocean, just at the entrance to the Bay of Samana. There are about 50 kilometers of coast.
It is a province which is essentially agricultural, the main activities are the breeding and the culture of sugar cane. There is a little fishing but it is artisanal. Tourism is starting to develop in this province, mainly in Miches and Playa Esmeralda where all-inclusive resorts were built in the early 2020s.
There is a natural scientific reserve of the Redonda and Limon lagoons.

The province of El Seibo has some pretty beaches:

• Playa Sabana Nisibon on the edge of the province of La Altagracia.
• La Barbacoa.
• Playa de los Reyes.
• El Limon.
• Playa de la Cana.
• Costa Esmeralda beach, the beach of the Mediterranean club.
• Playa Arriba in the village of Miches.
• El Morro.

For the moment this region does not have many hotels, they are mainly located in the town of Miches. However, several complexes are under construction in the near vicinity of Miches, where the most beautiful beaches in the province are.

The province of El Seibo is located in the east of the Dominican Republic, between the provinces of La Altagracia (to the east), Hato Mayor (to the west) and San Pedro de Macoris and La Romana to the south.
To the north is the Atlantic Ocean.
