Loma de Cabrera - Dominican Republic

Loma de Cabrera is a city in the province of Dajabon, in the northwest of the Dominican Republic, on the border with Haiti. It was founded as a municipality in 1939. Historically, Loma de Cabrera is part of what was the cacique of Marien, one of the four territorial divisions of the island of Santo Domingo at the time of its discovery.

The economy of Loma de Cabrera is based on agricultural production. Livestock and milk production.
Loma de Cabrera, being located in the lower parts of the Cordillera Central, ecotourism has great potential because it has several rivers and balnearios a lush beauty.
