Playa Dorada (also known as the Amber Coast) is a seaside resort which is located 20 minutes from the Gregorio Luperon International Airport of Puerto Plata. With a size of over 230 acres of land, Playa Dorada offers a range of hotels with 15 hotels totaling over 4,500 rooms and a golf course with 18 holes.

Playa Dorada is one of the neighborhoods with the most beautiful coastal roads facing the Atlantic Ocean, and is the main destination of beach on the north coast and with the most developed resorts in the Dominican Republic.
Most hotels are all inclusive, but the current trend is to offer a variety of options and allow customers to choose options that offer more freedom.
