The hotel El Pedernal (FUNDACIPE) is located in the extreme west of the Dominican Republic.
It has been completely renovated recently (2011) is offering 13 comfortable rooms. El Pedernales has a restaurant cafeteria.
The hotel has an Interpretation Centre on natural resources and the biosphere reserve of Jaragua National Park and Bahoruco, where visitors can have direct contact with nature in this region.
