Tourism is almost non-existent in this small town far from everything !!!
However, the region has beautiful landscapes and Lake Enriquillo which is a biosphere reserve and a unique natural park in the Caribbean with an extraordinary flora and fauna.

Avoid this place at all costs!! I don't know why people offer services they can't provide I took a room at hotel jimani on June 13, 2023. For 36$us per night, I didn't expect great luxury but at least they must respect customers.
1. the reception was bad, they don't even offer you a glass (can) of water on arrival
2. I was put in room 1, everything seemed normal until I noticed that the room did not have window, the bathroom door can't close, the fan is noisy and covered in cobwebs.

We went on a mission trip “be.ONE.United” and loved this hotel and area so so much !!! The staff is so very kind and the rooms are so nice. The landscape is A DREAM!!! Please add us on Facebook to see a lot of photos from there. It was October 2021 when we went. We hope that Hod sends us again soon.

A shame, as good facilities, but is in very poor condition. The rooms are scary! I'd rather sleep in a car and bathe in the river. J.Esparra. Puerto Rico
